Volunteer Coaches are very important to the success of our sports programs. Whether you’ve played recreationally or in more competitive programs, your experience can be used to encourage players to be active in a climate where children are becoming more and more sedentary. With your support and guidance, players develop skills, techniques, and strategies appropriate to their sport. The reward of coaching is experienced each time a player has a personal success. Coaches are expected to run practices and games throughout the season. North Georgia Recreation Staff will work with coaches to find a practice day and time that works best for them. If you have experience in athletics and enjoy working with children, contact our office at (678) 297-2662 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information about becoming a coach. Background checks are required.
